With the blessings of our Divine Guru, the 11th year Food Festival of Nalan Hotel was held in Medavakkam, Chennai from 31st Dec 2020 to 3rd Jan 2021. More than 3500 people got benefited by attending the event. Due to the Covid-19 infection, we have been unable to do any services for the past few months. But we were overjoyed when we were told that our Nalan’s food festival would be held in Chennai. However, this raised some concerns among us. Will the government permit us to hold our food festival in the midst of the Corona Virus outbreak? Will people participate and benefit as a result? Is it possible for our Trust's volunteers to participate? Will they be able to take part in the service by travelling from their home-town to Chennai? After several days of assessing the various situations, our Nalan Hotel granted us permission to hold our Food Festival in Chennai just 25 days before the festival's start date. We were both surprised and concerned about how to prepare for the upcoming Food Festival, which was only 25 days away. We were then confident that our Guruji would take care of everything as usual, and we began making plans. Those who organized the food festival in Karur last year generously shared their knowledge and experiences with us. It was extremely beneficial. Volunteers from Chennai frequently met online to discuss their individual responsibilities, including what to do, how to do it, and how to do it the right way and then carried out their plans. We also received a lot of help and advice from our Nalan Hotel. Our volunteers from other centers lent a hand as well. From where they were, they did everything they could. We were also assisted by volunteers from other countries. We express our gratitude and best wishes to them. During the preparations for our food festival, we encountered a number of challenges. We had some concerns, such as, starting the event on time and taking it ahead without any difficulty before the 5th day. We weren't sure if we'd get enough assistance. All we could think about was praying to Guru Ji for the success of our food festival. We've got a lot of help at the last minute thanks to God's grace. The volunteers were offered help by whoever they approached. We felt "Guru Kandavanukku Kurai Irupathillai" as a series of miracles unfolded before us. We express our heartfelt gratitude and salutations to our beloved Guru Ji. People from our Trust and the general public contributed as much as they could both financially and materially to the food festival. We thank each and everyone one of them from the bottom of our hearts. May their service continue indefinitely, and may God and the Guru bless and protect them so that they may prosper and live in happiness. Corona preventive measures recommended by Doctors were completely implemented. Immunity-boosting decoctions were given to all of the volunteers daily. Neem leaves and coconut fibre smoke were spread across the area at regular intervals. This event drew over 200 of our volunteers from Chennai and other districts. For four days, many volunteers from other districts stayed and served in Chennai. We would like to express our gratitude to them and their families and send them our best wishes. The public who ate our food complimented us on how delicious it was. And they eagerly inquired about how to prepare food in this completely vegan manner, as well as where they could obtain this food. We thank our Nalan Hotel and our Divine Guru for the opportunity to participate in this food festival
